Home Screen Short-cuts: Full keyboard

From the Home Screen, push the Space Bar (this will take you into Phone mode). Push in the wheel and select Options. Choose General Options. Roll to Dial From Home Screen and change it to No. Push in the wheel and select Save.

Now from the Home Screen, notice that the titles at the bottom of the screen have a letter underlined. This is the short-cut key. For example, press "M" for Messages.
